Vision Source, North America’s leading network of independent private practice optometrists, has created a challenge for its membership to raise $1 Million for Optometry Giving Sight before December 31st, 2015.
A significant portion of the funds raised will directly support the establishment of the first ever school of Optometry in Haiti - a country of more than 10 million people and only 3 optometrists.

Many Vision Source Executives, Administrators, members and staff are already donors to Optometry Giving Sight. With their help we are already well on the way to achieving our target.
But we still have a way to go and only a few weeks left before the end of the year.
If you are not already a donor, please make your donation today.
We are asking every practice to donate as little as $1 per day, or $30 per month as part of a recurring donation, or a one off gift of $360. If every practice does this we will easily achieve the target.
As an added incentive, all Vision Source practices have been divided into 3 teams - the Greater North East (Black) Team, the South (Gold) Team, and the West (Grey) team. Each team has a goal to raise $333,000.
You can follow the progress of your team by visiting the Vision Source Team Fundraising page where you will see how each team is doing and what the total amount raised is to date.
Your can also download our sign up form which you can complete and return to us before 31 December.
If you are already a monthly donor, or are donating through the I Care & Share program or the World Sight Day Challenge, then your donation is already part of the total. But you can still help.
Please talk to one of your colleagues and personally invite them to become a donor. Share the fact that you are part of our efforts to change the face of vision care in Haiti - a country of 10 million people that currently only has 3 optometrists.
Thank you in advance for your support. Please contact us directly if you need any further information.
