Making a bequest in your will to support Optometry Giving Sight is the most common way to make a lasting and impactful commitment. Your bequest can be a percentage of your estate or a specific dollar amount.

I give (bequest amount/percentage) to Optometry Giving Sight, Inc., Sydney Australia, with an office in Golden, Colorado, a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization, for general use / scholarships for students in / etc.

Beneficiary Designations – IRAs, life insurance, bank and other accounts

One of the easiest ways to support our mission through your estate plan is to designate Optometry Giving Sight as a Transfer on Death (TOD) beneficiary for any number of your fund types that can include: retirement funds such as your IRA or 401k, bank accounts, stock or mutual funds and life insurance. There will be no income tax to your heirs or estate tax and the funds will come to us tax free as a charitable donation.


Charitable Remainder Trusts

Establishing a charitable remainder trust (CRT) provides the opportunity to make a substantial gift while realizing excellent benefits for you and your family. These include:

  • Receive income for life or lives or for a term of years.
